Hi friends i am going to buy a gtx 970 and heard that there is a offer going around that if you buy a gtx 970 you would be able to download ACU for free. But i am going to buy it from Saudi Arabia and it is not in the LIST of supported region from Nvidia. And since the code is region based how can i redeem ACU even if i get the code from my retailer?? I am not going to have any money left to buy ACU after purchasing this gpu. So i really need help from one you guys.... PLEASE HELP ME ......... waiting for your reply........

Same deal with me in Taiwan (and this is where the big 3, MSI, Asus and Gigabyte originated), our 970's have a markup as well (MSI Gaming 4G here is around $420 for example, but EVGA is closer to US$370), I can only speculate why the cost difference is so big, but perhaps it's because Newegg etc doesn't charge tax (I *think*), or they simply buy enough of them that they offer them a big discount. I think local retail stores mark up prices too (they have to earn a living somehow).

But i heard you get the code if you get the gpu from amazon. if that's true which region do i put in nvidia's website? OR should i just try with every region until i get the right one??

No Idea, I personally never buy computer hardware online, too much risks and hassle involved, perhaps someone who buys the card in similar region (one that does not have Pick you path offer) from somewhere else that offers it.

I have a funny feeling that Amazon knows this and will change the contents depending on which country it is shipping the card to, but I have absolutely no idea.

Thats fine friend. But one last question. Why the same product has a price tag of 349 dolllars in newegg, 423 dollars in amazon and 2100 Saudi riyals in stores of Saudi Arabia which almost equals to 553 dollars?? Like you, neither do I want to buy pc hardware online but 553 dollars??? Seriously??? That is why amazon seems best to me as newegg doesn't ship there and i don't want to spend 500 dollars in a gpu just because that's right outside my door. What do you think?
