Computer freezes for about 2 seconds

My PC keeps freezing, about 1-2 seconds at a time, then resumes, it does this about every few minutes. All I'm doing is watching a show I downloaded, I tried watching my Task Manager for spikes in CPU/Memory usage, there are none when the freeze happens. I tried looking at the Resource Monitor and I dont really see anything there either.

AMD Radeon HD 6750
Win 7
Intel i3-2100 3.10GHz
6GB of RAM

is it a new build?
did you clean your fans?
did you add new things etc?

maybe your downloads aren't very legal and you attracted a bug, a big one, with teeth and fangs

I regularly scan my computer, I just did a full (3 hours long) malware scan, and Im about to do a virus scan with this issue popping up out of the blue. I dont have anything new in my PC and I haven't bothered cleaning this one since my new build is 95% complete and this one will be retired after its all here.

Try using CCleaner to sort out any registry issues.

Also try updating your drivers.

I cleaned my PC with the Windows tool, used CCleaner, Im gonna restart my PC now and watch it to see if it pops back up.
