Im looking to build my first pc after many years of the dreaded ps3
The provisional build i have is:CPU Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core £49.14
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing £24.85
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 ATX LGA1150 £61.45
Memory Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 £60.13
Case NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower £57.35
Power Supply Corsair 600W ATX12V £56.39

Total Cost = £309
This build is to upgrade cpu and gpu in the near future. If there is any recommendations that people have i will accept them

Seems fine to me. Might want to change the PSU as others said :)

Drop in a Broadwell or Haswell Refresh i5/i7, buy anohter stick of the exact same RAM, get a x70/x80 GPU and you're good to go :D
