Hi, I want to create windows 8.1 64 bit OS recovery media. I would be requiring 5 DVD+R. DVD+R specifically since its what hp, my laptop OEM, recommends.
Not to say specifically, but I want reliable dvds since, hp allows only once to create these & if they give up, then I would have to buy them from hp for which I had already paid.
From my little research, I have selected these 2:
1) http://www.flipkart.com/verbatim-dvd-r-10-pack-spindle/p/itmczzcaegeexw5t?pid=ACCCZZC9TH2U5H4M&srno=b_5&ref=dc0f416b-a967-4f60-8e16-45abfa8c31f4
2) http://www.flipkart.com/moser-baer-dvd-r-pro-5-pack-normal-jewel-case/p/itmczzcaht7dd9se?pid=ACCCZZC93NHB7JFP&srno=b_11&ref=dc0f416b-a967-4f60-8e16-45abfa8c31f4
I have previously used DVD-R drives of moserbaer & none have failed me & still working nice. But then I have just stored movies & nothing much as important as this time. So don't wanna take risk.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.:)

The Verbatim should be fine. I've used them continuously and never had issues. The other brand I've never used but if you've used them with good results then they're probably fine. They look like good quality but that might not mean anything.

Either is probably ok. Just double check them after burning to see that they can be read by the system and you'll be ok.

Thanks darkbreeze and Phillip Corcoran for ur views. Really helped.
One more question, it will sound stupid, but since I will be requiring only 5 of the Verbatim pack, the other 5 would be left, so for how much time I can leave them without using and having a surety that they won't fail?
