Ok, so my mom will only let me have my pc in my room if it's connected and streaming to the upstairs tv with chrome cast, so she can see what I'm doing. I want to know how badly this will affect my pc's performance. How badly will it affect my frame rate in let's say BF4, I have a sapphire vapor-x r9 290x and a AMD 9590 cpu with 2 Samsung 840 evo ssd's. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance :D

-Just as a added note it doesn't have to be a good stream because i'll be playing in front of my pc. Just so long as it doesn't slow down my pc, and if you have any better ideas for something like chrome cast I'm open for ideas!. Also if I connect them somehow with hdmi will that slow down my Computer. Thanks.
- I'll Be playing games directly to my pc's moniter. The tv is just for my mom.

I've heard that chromecast isn't that great for gaming just because of the amount of pixels it is pushing through a router. Which is a lot.

Chromecast streams through wifi, correct? So, I would imagine, in this situation, that the only hindrance would be to your internet connection. The stream to the upstairs TV might be laggy, especially if you're playing at high graphical settings and high frame rate, but that shouldn't affect your end of the equation.

Wait, Henry, are you planning to be playing the game in front of the TV receiving the stream through Chromecast, or are you playing in front of your PC? If it's the former, you're going to have problems, like t3naci0ust said.
