Started having issues with the motherboard booting into the EFI shell. Talked to Intel tech support who recommended disconnecting the optical drive which resolved the issue for a little while. The board will randomly not boot (sit at the post screen) or will give various error codes on the motherboard LED display. Current code is 71 which I can't find in the Intel technical guide for the board. Mobo model is intel dz77ga-70k
Currently nothing is connected to the SATA ports and no USB drives are connected.
I'm thinking the board is just going bad but when it finally works it works 100%. It seems that any change to the boot order or drives connected cause complete failure.
