I recently bought a brand new PNY ram module (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/pny-optima-4gb-pc3-10666-ddr3-dimm-desktop-memory/2327496.p?id=1218532316525&skuId=2327496) to replace one of my Corsair Dominator modules that went bad (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145312).

I tested all of the slots and the slots are not the problem. The ram module was the problem. The new PNY module is returning 24 errors on Memtest86+ where as the bad module was returning 800000+ errors. My question is... are these errors a result of the new PNY module being faulty or is it a result of the modules not working together correctly?

My mother board is: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55DE/specifications/

Thanks.

Solution
Try Memtest on the PNY by itself, if it test OK then can try them with a little extra voltage to the DRAM and or MC, will need to know the model # of each stick and the CPU and mobo

Update:
Regardless, these 24 errors are enough for me to Blue Screen when I load any application. I have determined that my best option is to buy a brand new set.
