Could my psu handle a gtx970 with this system?

would my cooler master extreme 2 525 be able to run a gtx 970 alongside with a i5 4570k cpu, gigabyte h87 d3h, phoebus sound card, 8gb ram, 200gb ssd, and 2tb hdd?

It's too low end of a PSU to risk an expensive graphics card with.

When Hardware Secrets reviewed the lower powered 475 Watt RS-475-PCAR-D3 model it burned out when they tried to draw more than 430 Watts from it. They also found that the +12V rails would drop below what is allowed by ATX12V specs when they tried to draw more than 360 Watts from the PSU. They considered that model to be only a 360 Watt PSU and nothing more.

Don't expect your RS-525-PCAR-D3 to be much better.
