BSOD whenever I run a game...

So, I just installed my new CPU -> FX8350 4.0ghz 8 core...
I've updated my BIOS and it works fine, except when I play any game....
As soon as the game loads, bam... BSOD and re-boots...

I have no idea why this is happening. This doesn't happen with my old cpu.... (AMD Phenom 2 710)....

Here are my specs....
Motherboard - GA-970A-UD3 (Gigabyte)
CPU - FX 8350 (4.0ghz 8 cores)
GPU - Sapphire R9 270x OC 4GB RAM
RAM - 16GB Ram 1866mhhz
BIOS - BIOS v6.00PG (upgraded from Gigabytes website to support new 8350)
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
PSU - 650W OCZ or something like that....
HDD - 3TB

It's weird though how it runs fine and boots up fine, runs 1080p video's fine, but as soon as I boot a game, it BSOD's on me.
Only been happening since I upgraded the CPU.
Can't be a BIOS fault because well it boots.
Not a GPU problem / overheating problem or anything like that because the setup runs fine and plays games with the Phenom II 710 with no BSOD's..

Any idea's?
(Games I've tried... Smite / Tera / Skill 2 ? Civ 5)...

Solution
I picked revision 1.1 as that is what it says on my motherboard :)
I only flashed up to F7 because I didn't trust the beta BIOS :)

Update on Prime95, Ran from 02:36 - 02:52 (manual stop)
Ran 2 tests on each core, all no problems reported...

Logitech drivers updated ^^
Trying FurMark now....
Your old CPU draws less power and it can't make the GPU work as hard as does the FX-8350. There are a couple possibilities: the VRMs can't take the load or the PSU isn't good enough to handle the additional load. Run Prime95 for at least 1/2 hour and if the system is stable, then run Furmark. If it's fine under Prime95 and it reboots when running Furmark, then the PSU most likely has to be replaced. If it reboots while running Prime95, then the VRMs probably are the root cause of that issue.

The only Logitech thing I have is the G930's (Wireless headset).
Surely out of date headset driver's wouldn't cause the BSOD's from installing a new CPU?!? :p

P.S.
Updating Logitech Drivers anyway and running Prime95

Weird... When I click GPU Stress Test, it runs opens a new window and then (if in fullscreen mode) leaves the window minimised and I can't "open" it. If I try to stress test in windowed mode the monitor flickers and the "FurMark window" is black then changes to a white screen then does nothing...

Okay, well that's the reason I posted all the rest of these details was for GhislainG or anyone else who happens to look at this thread :)

I ran them last week on a MSI R9 270X and I had no issues. Furmark ran for 4 hours without failing. Neither did Prime95 torture tests for 13 hours. Run GPU-Z or GPU Shark (I haven't tried it), but not both at the same time.

How would downgrading my PSU fix it? Surely it can't be a PSU problem because it runs games fine and doesn't bsod when the Phenom II 710 is in....

I'm not suggesting that you downgrade the PSU; I merely suggest you test with another quality 550W or better PSU. You already determined the motherboard should be fine since Prime95 ran without issues, but your system can't run FurMark which indicates the PSU can't take the load. If you are absolutely sure the PSU isn't the source of the issue, then RMA the motherboard. An FX-8350 draws a lot more power from the +12V rail that the Phenom II 710.
