Mobo and SSD swap under Windows 8 - whats the best order

Hi, I have read a number of threads on swapping a Mobo under Win 8.1, and I'm ok with that. I have my product ID but no physical media. I have just bought a whole new platform (reusing case and PS), so I will be changing Mobo/processor/RAM/video card and SSD.
My question:
is it better to swap the mobo/processor/RAM/video card - and get that working with the existing windows install on the existing SDD and then swap in the new SSD
OR should I install the new SSD, clone it off the existing SSD and get it booting the existing system and then change the mobo/processor/RAM, video card?

First - you can download Windows 8/8.1 from Microsoft and create a bootable flash drive and/or DVD: http://www.howtogeek.com/186775/how-to-download-windows-7-8-and-8.1-installation-media-legally/

The new mobo may not work with your current SSD or the old SSD cloned to the new one - drivers are different. Sometimes you get lucky in a repair of the OS - but usually it results in reinstalling Windows from scratch once the new mobo is installed.

My suggestion:
1) Create bootable install drive (DVD/Flash Drive)
2) Install mobo, RAM, CPU and new SSD (no video card, old SSD or old hard drives).
3) Install Windows 8 on the new SSD
4) Install all updates, drivers, etc.
5) Install the GPU and update the drivers
6) Install the old SSD...

6) Install the old SSD and move user files. Program need to be reinstalled - you can't usually just copy them (a few might work this way).
