I just finished building my new desktop and I was wondering if I could use WET to move my files from my old laptop to the secondary 1TB hdd on my new one? I'm running Win 7 on both of them and I'm using an ssd to house my OS on the desktop. I want to keep everything else on the 1TB since the ssd only has 120gb.

Hey there, darlingsweet!

I haven't used Windows Easy Transfer for a while, especially when there are so many migrating/cloning utilities but IMO it should work.
As far as I remember you can select the drive you want to store the data to.
Just keep in mind that you will be able to transfer only files and settings though.

Hope this helped. Good luck! :)
