Hi!
Im planning to buy a gaming computer with zotac gtx 770 and i5 4460, and I want a computer that doesn't consume too much electricity. Do you think that a 500w power supply would be more power efficient than a 600w power supply, or only will consume the max system power?

Im thinking of buying this PSU:
-Corsair CX500m

I want a PSU less than 80€ that is power efficent and reliable, and I want to buy on this local store (http://coolmatica.pt/store/category.php?id_category=22) and I haven't too many options. Do you think that's a good PSU for my build or do I need a more reliable or more wattage PSU?

(Sorry for my bad English)

It will only consume more energy if the PC uses the watts. The 500W PSU might not be enough, and with the 600W, it might only use like 560W.

But in terms of energy consumption, what would be the difference between the Corsair Cx500m and Cx600m power supply? The 600w will consume more energy, or only will consume the max system energy? For example, if the total power consumption of the computer is 400W, the PSU will only consume those 400W, or with the increase of the PSU wattage, the PSU will consume more energy?
