I will buy a new Gigabyte GTX 970 for my new system and I will use it with intel core i7 4790, 8 gb or 16 gb Ram, however I am between windforce and g1 gaming.

What is the difference between them?
They look very similar, is there a significant difference?

As far as I know, the G1 version has a higher base clock and boost clock. The G1 version almost might be binned a bit better for better overclocking potential. The normal version can easily be overclocked to the G1's clock speed though.

I have heard that Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 has a close performance to GTX 980 regarding its high clock speeds and performance.

I asked this question in forum many times and I wonder your idea.
Which GTX 970 is the best?
I live in Turkey and Gigabyte, MSI and Asus are available to buy.
But my heart is with Gigabyte.

Note: I want to play Assassin's Creed Unity on ultra with 50-60 FPS.

You really can't go wrong with either of them. Pretty much all GTX 970s will run cool, and are efficient due to their low TDP. If you've had a good experience with Gigabyte, I see no reason not to go with them. MSI and Asus also have good cards but if 'your heart is with Gigabyte', go ahead and pick one of theirs up.

Are you getting high FPS rates in modern games such as Assassin's Creed Unity? With which CPU? Core i7?

If i'm not mistaken g1 has additional heatpipes that lead towards vrm or mosfets whereas windforce oc has just a small heatsink like asus and msi and others. All other things you know
