Hi Guys!

I am completely new in this building custom PC thing, although i had been doing quite a research everywhere on the web. But i still can't get a clear idea of my choices, and i just wonder if the experts here could help me by giving advises what to swap and what to omit. Thank you in advance guys!!

Case : Corsair Carbide 540
CPU : i7-5820K (or just stick to i7-4790K?)
Motherboard : MSI x99S SLI Plus
SSD : Samsung 850 PRO 512 GB
RAM : 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
VGA : Strix GTX 970x2
PSU : Seasonix 760W

Please do let me know what will the best bang for my bucks, i have no problems in swapping anything that'll provide better value

Regards,
Andy

Solution
I wouldn't recommend a WD Green (5400 RPM only) unless it is for media storage only.
Go for something 7200RPM at least 64MB cache.

I would definitely pick the 330R, I do love silent cases.
They compromise very slightly on airflow but offer a huge comfort because of quietness.

For the build guide, search online by yourself, watch some videos.
There are tons of materials.

Are you gaming only?
Heck an i7-4770k would be an overkill but I guess budget is not an issue.
Better value is almost impossible as you picked all the best components.
If budget is really not a concern, go 980x2 for (15%-20% improvements maybe).

Hi Guys. Thanks a lot for the really fast reply and helping me in making this decision. Had been very busy these past few months due to me taking new degree and working.

But I had changed the parts to this, what do you guys think?

Case : Corsair Carbide 240 (or Corsair Carbide 330r), my table i kinda small and i cant accommodate a full tower case while maintaining aesthetic-looking appearance
CPU : i7-4790K
Motherboard : Asus Maximus VII Gene
SSD : Samsung 840 EVO 512 GB + WDC Green 2 TB
RAM : 16 GB Corsair Vengeance Dominator Pro (2x8)
VGA : Strix GTX 980
PSU : Seasonic 760W Gold
Cooler : Corsair H100i
Fan : Corsair SP120
Speaker : QAcoustics BT3
Subwoofer : PolkAudio PSW 110
DAC : Chord Hugo

And if it wasn't too much problem, can you guys give me an url to a complete tutorial in assembling a PC, including how to set up BIOS and etc? I don't want to trouble you guys by asking you to explain it to me. I'd rather read a website on my own.

Thank you in advance,
This is a great forum!
