So I built a PC a few weeks ago. It wouldn't turn on at first when I moved it upstairs, but then I used a different outlet on my surge protector and it worked for a few days. Then my PC randomly turned off. I moved it straight into the wall and it worked for another couple of days, but it turned off randomly again. I'm not sure how to fix this. My PSU is the CX600. My surge protector was plugged into the wall using a cheater plug and when I plugged my PC into the wall, I used a cheater plug if that is important. I do not have any three pronged outlets in my house.

Although this probably wont help you... I'll say it anyways. I had a pc that was randomly turning off and then had issues powering back on. It ended up that there was some extra tin on the back of a motherboard contact that was hitting my case and shorting the system. Probably won't help you but if you get really frustrated you can check.
