Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a new laptop to use with my 3D modeling program, this would be used in conjunction with my desktop (desktop does the majority of the workload, laptop would be for site visits/customer meetings). Looking to see what would give me the most bang for my buck (really want to keep it under $1,200, I realize this probably really limits my choices).

Will list a link to the program itself and the minimum system requirements below. I would like to get something that would run it with ease and hopefully survive an update or two (next program release is in the spring '15)

Thanks to anyone who can help with some input

-Bob

— OR —
2. Integrated Graphics, e.g., Intel HD Graphics (driver needs to be 2012 or newer)
How can I tell what video card I have?

The lenovo Y50 is a very good laptop, with some pretty good specs.
Check it out here: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/

I'd go for the $1,199.00 version. It will run 3D modelling programs perfectly fine.
