my brother asked me to pick new PC with is "something like mine" in price up to 2200PLN/522EUR:
my spec:
i5-3350p (stock cooler) 670PLN
MSI GFX 660 610 PLN
750 Gb disc 7200
8gb 1333 CL9 250 PLN
GA-H61MA-D2V mobo 200PLN
i bet i have some chinise PSU inside (it didnt blow up yet xD)
i bought it all in bundle for about 2150PLN/510 EUR 1,5 years ago.
I checked how much it will cost at current prices (with cheap PSU) to see what headroom i have for upgrade. I was surprised when I saw that at current price of my bundle is 2180PLN/517 EUR.

So i begin completely new build and after watching some reviews i came with something like this:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor 400PLN -> OC to 4.0-4.2 for sure
CPU Cooler: RAIJINTEK THEMIS CPU Cooler 110PLN
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard 310PLN
Storage: 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive 190
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB Video Card 730PLN
Optical Drive 50 PLN
RAM simple 8gb 1333 CL9 250 PLN
PSU: CoolerMaster B500 V2 500W 180 PLN- cheap and good (no 80Plus coz this PSU dont support USA voltage but also coz that its cheap - i guess its best pick for european market(230V) for now MyOpinionTM)
Case: simple with airflow at front 50 PLN

price for this bundle should be around 2270PLN/536 Eur (its already too much)

where i was stuck is CPU in that price range there is no good quad core cpu, fx6300 losing even after OC in games vs my 3350p.
Dual core(i3 and pentiums) is not way to go because it already cant run some games so it is not futureproof.
Good i5 starts at 700 PLN/167 EUR so for selecting this CPU would have to choose a cheaper GPU(main improvement for games).
Personally, in my brother's place I would go spread some flyers to earn money for i5-4460(730PLN+200PLN MOBO) =.=.

Building system for not your own money is pain in ass so please help me to make "better than mine" in same price range system. it can be either OC or not OC system.

my brother mainly plays MMOs and RPGs(dragon age that dont support dual cores -yee..), PC should run new games for about 2-3 years in decent quality, without issues and it should be in price up to 2200PLN/522EUR.

Solution

An XFX or Seasonic power supply should do great!
Pentiums are not, but i-3s are hyperthreaded, so they look like a quad-core, and should still be sufficient to run any game.
Low-end Coolermaster PSUs are only a notch above junk, and should be avoided. For best results, please provide a link (or links) where you can buy components.

XFX Core Edition PRO - 80Plus Bronze - 550W 240 PLN but i dont know if they have it on stock
EVGA 500B Bronze Power Supply -same as above same price
XFX Core TS 550W -270PLN (i think its too much for budget system but i saw it cheaper in different merchant for 230 PLN)
i dont saw any Kingwin Lazer and only highend EVGA G2 in any site

i will ask about those above if they will not have them or go down with price i will pick CX

there is any point going so high with price on PSU, i never saw issues with low end psu running even 5-10 years(most of them were hated by everyone Modecom Feels)?

btw i run on LC-Power LC600H-12 nearly 2 years it was on few 48h lan party and you says that CX will not last a one year? o_O

i should give "solution" to Onus too. i feel like jerk - i think its end if this will run new Dragon Age without issues

@using this as reference http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html
i will ask for a discount of XFX (tier2) if there will be nothing i can do i will go with CX500(tier 3), looks like in my rig i have tier 4 but its works fine for me (for now). sadly dont see modecom feels there(i think those will be at tier 4 too).
