My panosonic TV was switched off at the mains, the following morning we turned it back on and there's no power to it. It's not the fuse because I've changed that, and I've left it unplugged and plugged in for 24 hours each. It's not making an sounds to indicate that any electricity is getting to it. It's all connected at the back as I've checked that as well. Any suggestions?

Try a different outlet if you've not already done so. But, as has been mentioned, odds are the internal PSU is toast. As sad as that is, what's more sad is that it could possibly cost you as much to fix it as it would to buy a new set. Consider your options carefully.
