Custom built pc turned on before but won't start now

I have a custom built pc that ran on its own just fine for a couple of months. Then i left for university and i came back for christmas and set everything up. I turned it on, it gave me the boot screen, it stayed on for around 10 seconds then shut off, it has not turned on again since then. When i turn on the psu from the back it shows a green light on my motherboard so i think the psu is fine.

maybe the RAM got knocked loose? try re seating it. Try a different wall socket/ surge protector. Did the ATX 20/24 pin or the 4/8 pin CPU connectors from the PSU get knocked loose? those are sometimes tough to get plugged in securely (especially the 4/8 pins because of where they tend to be located)

yes they're fine they're exactly like they were before i left and it was working fine, and no i only have on psu

i tried a different socket but not a different room in the house, i also secured the pins
