I have an Z87x-D3H and i5-4430, and I was Wondering that will my Mainboard support an i5-4690k ??

wanna buy an i5-4690k and its Haswell Refresh and it only works with 97 series, but i heard if you update your bios it will work with 87 series, and my mainboard need F8 BIOS update, if i update my BIOS to F9 (F9 is out too) will it work just FINE ?

here my CPU Support list:

Should work perfectly fine. But tbh, Z97 is the best choice in my opinion. Why? Because of TurboBoost. Also, you can upgrade to an i7 later without changing the mobo but thats what i have in mind. don't listen to me. your z87 will be fine

If the motherboard ships with the BIOS version that supports the 4690K and other Haswell Refresh CPUs (which it should, as Haswell Refresh CPUs have been out for a long time), you should be good to go. As mentioned above, a 9-series board is probably your best choice.
