Right now I have a Dell XPS 8500 That I Swapped out The old PSU and GPU I upgraded to a 970 and will be running 3 way SLI soon I am Wondering I have a Intel i7 3770 (getting slow and not able to OC) and I've been looking at The AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core Because Its So fast. Also a new bigger Case Could I Upgrade To a AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core And a New Motherboard ETC.... Would my Graphics Card Work With That Processor type and What Motherboard Would you Recommend for It. I know a lot of people give it a bad rep but Its only 200 Bucks and Faster Then all Processors Within 100-400 Price Range. And I don't need to worry about power I have a Corsair AX1500i 1500 watt So power IDC about. (I currently have it resting on top of the Pc it wouldn't fit lol) Also Is ram Compatible With all CPU types?

you dont want to compare speeds between an amd and an intel. it just doesnt work because they are completely different setups. the speed may be faster, but i would still put money on an i7 being better.

if you dont want to listen to answers, dont ask questions. although your 3770 may not benchmark better than the amd, there are i7's that kill the 9590 within the pricerange that you mentioned (100-400$ range.) such as the 4790k. the difference between the 3770k and the 9590 wouldnt be enough for me to say its worth it, because in the end, you are getting a chip that is comparible to what you already have.
if you are going to bat for the amd, get the amd. you dont have to argue your point as why you think its better. i can already see you have your mind set on getting the amd, so just get it if you feel so inclined to do so

he has tunnel vision on speed numbers that he probably wont take it into consideration.
going between the 3770 and the 9590 is like trading in a 1992 cadillac for another 1992 cadillac.

there is no fanboyism going on. as of 3 weeks ago, i finally made the switch from AMD to intel. all i ever used was AMD. so, believe what you want, because you arent accepting answers because you went fanboy on us

the amd will run considerable higher temps for what it is. that particular AMD is top of the line for AMD. there are no AMD's that i know of that are better, but there is no upgrade option with AMD from there, and is not exactly breaking records, or blowing minds for its speeds. take it for what its worth. if you want it, get it, but keep in mind that there are i7s within 300-400$ that are better than the best AMD chip there is.
