I have 800 dollars, a 600 watt psu, and a gtx 760. What is the best computer i can make with these(im open to ditching the gpu and cpu).

Solution
Since you upgraded to $800 (I'm pretty sure it was $600 before), here's a great build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($138.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($73.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($164.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($97.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Antec One ATX Mid Tower Case ($47.99 @ Directron)

my psu is a Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX600), and my gtx 760 is the 2GB version :(. I also want am planning to upgrade it sometime next year, so i want the computer to have room for expansion.

Get rid of the PSU, but keep the graphics card. Corsair makes some good PSU's, but their CX series is junk. You can upgrade the graphics card later when you have the money.

Here's what I would get (I am assuming you have a hard drive lying around that you can use. If you don't, I would get a hard drive instead of an SSD):

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($174.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($120.99 @ NCIX US)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($72.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Enermax ECA3253-BL ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.98 @ Directron)
Power Supply: XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($76.49 @ NCIX US)
Total: $555.43

You can upgrade anything in the above build. For example, you can get a slightly faster CPU, different motherboard, or better SSD.

Note: There are some mail-in rebates that are not included in the above price, so you can actually get these parts a little cheaper.

is the intel core i5 better than the fx 8320 superclocked? Because, i know with a cooler that it would be cheaper and i could get a least 4.2 ghz. Also, wouldn't just keeping the psu, and upgrading something else be worth it?

It's hard to say which CPU would be better. I would say to just go with the one you want, either will be great.

Here's the problem with keeping your PSU. First off, because it is rated as Bronze, you can't actually use all 600 watts (more like only 500 watts). Second, the older a PSU gets, the less power it can handle (I assume you have already been using it in another computer, but I might be wrong). Also, Corsair's CX series is known to have poor quality capacitors.
If your PSU is brand new, or at least only slightly used, that's fine, you can use it. Just plan on upgrading to a better one in the near future. However, if you plan on overclocking an AMD CPU, I wouldn't use the CX600.

The CX600 would be fine for what you have right now.. Overclocking with it would be fine but I personally wouldnt suggest it. And wolverine idk why you suggested a $76 XFX lol. XFX are good but they arent that good. For this build I would but the EVGA B2 and then buy a motherboard that is capable of SLI. (As wolverine did for the mobo). 760's in SLI should have the performance of about one 970. It really depends on the game. The 4460 will without a question beat the 8320 by the way. Aswell as the 8350 OCd. And I dont know if you know this but you cant compare AMD clock speeds and Intel. It sounded like you were before :p Anyways this is what I would go for:

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Plus ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($110.49 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($52.99 @ Amazon)

I really suggest that you overclock this thing. This CPU will outperform any CPU AMD makes without a question :p

Do you really think i'll run into problems with my psu? Becuase, i made a build that is very similar to yours, accept all the parts i bought were an amazon(because i have amazon prime), and i didn't get a new psu. I got the same cpu as you though, so if you think i'll run into problems trying to overclock it, then that means i have to get a new psu, and change my build.

Thanks for the input. The main reason why I suggested a new PSU is because I don't know how long he has had it. And yes, you could always overclock an Intel system, too!

Also, every now and then Antec's PSU's go on sale. I have seen a 620-watt bronze PSU for $30-40.
