Okay well I want a 24" monitor, for gaming, and I've been looking around and I found the Acer V246HLbd
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umfv6aa003
I also found the BenQ GL2460HM
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-gl2460hm

The reviews on both are great but I just can't pick one. I do like how the BenQ has a 2MS response rate and in a review on PCMAG (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2471328,00.asp) the BenQ's blacks are outstanding.

These are just what I found. If you guys could help me pick one or suggest a different monitor that is under $140, that'd be amazing. I would be willing to spend just a tiny bit more if it's really worth it.

I don't know if this might help you or not, but I mostly play Battlefield 4 and games alike, and I have a GTX 970, so I know a 120Hz monitor might be a better match but I don't have the money for one... Haven't seen a good one for $140.

Help please?

Nope, Asus beats them both combined. I would suggest The Asus VE228H model monitor. Its not 24 inches but of very high quality. I've seen the reviews. 4/5 stars, 504 reviews on newegg. It will cost you 130 and I would suggest you get an hdmi splitter to get more than 1 hdmi.

Well no sh$% ASUS beats them both. However, the OP asked about Acer and BenQ, not ASUS. Plus, the ASUS monitors, while being significantly better, are also significantly more expensive too.

Plus, they didn't ask about a smaller unit, so that's an irrelevant response. If I ask a question about 24" monitors, I don't want somebody to reply saying get this, but it's smaller. That's like asking about a Camaro and the salesman showing me a Chevette.
