okay so i have
16 GB ram total Dual Channel 4 GB per stick
brand : Kingston Hyper x blue

now i did memory test 86 for 2 days of just testing to be sure an says no errors at all ....

but yet one of the ram sticks i know what one it is..any way i take it out . PC runs fine!

i put it in then PC hangs and CPU usage spikes like Google chrome uses 72% CPU usage but ram usage stays the same and that's 1 tab open and no other programs are open does go away after about 5 minutes

and also CPU usage when between 80-100% usage my mouse freezes well lags bad not freeze completely

so honestly i am thinking of replacing it which is the easiest solution

so my questions are:

if i buy a 8 GB stick of ram will it work with the other 3 - 4 GB sticks
and yes my motherboard supports 32 GB
only up to 1600 mhz tho

or is there a fix for this problem besides replacing or just taking it out of PC and throwing in trash )=

or other option i suppose is replacing all memory but do not feel like spending 100-300$ if i do not have to

and any help is much appreciated XD

It certainly would. 16GB (or even more) is recommended for video editing in Adobe Premiere, working with high resolution images with many layers in Photoshop, professional audio editing and 3D modelling, running several virtual machines and so on.

For your usage scenario, 8 GB is perfectly fine.
First, I would test each stick individually (in each slot) to make sure they all work or not. It might be that they are all OK, but your mobo or mobo slot have issues when all 4 of them are being used.

If one of them turns bad throw this one away, and as the easiest solution I would just sell 1 good stick and keep the other 2 for 8GB total, which is plenty unless you are doing video editing or other memory-intensive tasks. Or use 3 of them in single channel, but 12GB.

Buying 8GB is not advised, mixing RAM types/sizes is never a good idea for stability sake. And you need to determine whether it is the stick(s) or the mobo/slots that's causing trouble.

now i did not mention it but i did test them individually so...

now i do a lot of encoding in 1080 p for you tube etc
and i stream on twitch with obs
as well as run 2 media servers 1 on all the time
and do work from home for my office through team viewer
and more....
as well as gaming in high setting for all my games

now will 8 GB be enough for this ?
