Hi there...

I recentlly bought a Zotac GTX 770 4GB to make a SLI setup with my old Zotac GTX 770 2GB.

The problem is that there is now SLI option in Nvidia Control Panel.

When I turn on the system WITHOUT the SLI Bridge, there's message asking me to plug the bridge to enable maximum performance on SLI. Also, in the Nvidia Control Panel, the option "Configure SLI, Surround, Physx" show up in the left text menu under 3-D Settings but the option "Maximise 3D Performance." is grayed out.

When I plug the bridge there's not SLI option at all, nothing. The option "Configure SLI" it's not there anymore.

Both cards are recognized by the system on device manager, nvidia control panel, GPU-Z and both are working fine separately.

What I tried:

- Different driver versions, using DDU to clean the system before installing the new driver.
- Swaping the cards slots
- Tried 4 different SLI bridges

My system:

- Windows 8.1 x64 Pro (legal copy)
- Core i7 2600K
- Asus Maximus IV Extreme (latest BIOS)
- Antec TruePower Quattro 1200W
- Drivers 344.75 and 344.45
- 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair
- Zotac GTX 770 2GB
- Zotac GTX 770 4GB

Resuming:

1 - Without SLI Bridge = Shows option for SLI but it's grayed out
2 - With SLI Bridge = No option for SLI at all, but both cards shows in the PhisX menu

Thanks!

Solution
From nVidias SLI guide:
- All GPUs must have the same amount of VRAM and an identical Bus Width
-- You cannot use a "2GB" version with a "4GB" version or "3GB" version with a "6GB" version in SLI or a 1GB 192 bit bus with a 1GB 256 bit bus Etc.
Note: It used to be possible to enable SLI on cards with differing VRAM but this is no longer available.

Oh, so that's the problem. The guy who sold me said it was possible. Guess I'll have to sell one of them... Thanks
