Hi, so I've recently come back from travelling for a few months and my PC had been sat in a cupboard with no side panel on so it picked up a lot of dust. I went and got some compressed air and a small paintbrush and did what I thought was an alright job of getting all the dust from the fans etc. It could be coincidence but when i plugged it back in the PC restarted a few times and something seemed different.

(When I got the PC it was meant to come with Windows 7 but the guy didn't give me a code for it so it isn't registering as genuine however before I had got rid of the notification on start up and when I turned it back on after the resets it was there again which was weird, as was the on screen keyboard I used to install the drivers.)

Anyway I went onto League of Legends as normal but about 15 minutes into the game the screen froze and a horrible screecing/scratching/static noise filled my earphones. I rebooted and tried to finish the game thinking it was a one-off but it happened again 2-3 minutes into the game, since then I have updated any missing drivers and checked all my fans are still spinning. Also when I go to do the Windows Performance test it fails stating: 'Could not measure playback performance' if that means anything.

I also ran FurMark and my PC crashed about 20-30 minutes in.

My specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

CPU Intel Core i5 320 @ 3.00GHz (34 degrees Celsius at present)
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 823MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V LX (LGA1155) (currently 25 degrees Celsius)

Graohics VE228 (1920x1080@60Hz) 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (Gigabyte) 32.0 Celcius

Storage 55GB SPCC SSD110 ATA Device (SSD)
0B SAMSUNG HD204UI ATA Device (SATA)
The Samsung showing 0B is odd as it is meant to be 2TB

Thanks in advance

Solution
I'm pretty sure your graphics card is overheating. With a Furmark benchmark, I'm not capable of keeping my graphics card under 75 degrees C at 85% fan speed. Bump up your fan speeds on the GPU using MSI Afterburner. Try to keep temps under 80 degrees C while under heavy load, preferably at 70 C max

I just put the fan speeds up and got a max temp of 60 degrees C on the 1080 benchmark setting, I will try play the game and post back my results. Thank you.

I thought this had fixed it as I managed to play 2 full games of League, however an hour or so later when I was just browsing YouTube it froze again, the PC is in a bit of a tight spot should I maybe move it to get more air?

Theres a big fan at the bottom encased in a metallic thing, one at the front, one on the motherboard and one on my GPU

Make sure your system is properly grounded. I used to have similar problem and I think I fixed it by updating my BIOS version. If you are gonna try this, be very careful , if you fail the BIOS update, you will screw up your motherboard.
