Hello all,
I am becoming more and more frustrated with an issue which has only just arisen when I try to play any new games such as AC: Unity and Far Cry 4.
With AC: Unity it tends to happen in cutscenes where the graphics will start to artifact and cause my card to crash with red and blue dots all over the screen and my second monitor will either have red and blue dots or it will flash red and blue entirely and I will either be greeted with AC: Unity has stopped working or the error 'display driver has crashed and has successfully recovered.'
With Far Cry 4 I can't even get past the menu screen to play the game without the exact same crash from happening.
I have had this happen a couple of times also with Arma 2 whilst trying to play DayZ but this is more stable.
I have kept my eye on the temps of my card and they don't even seem to move even slightly as the crash takes place.
I have tried uninstalling all drivers for my card in safe mode with "Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 13.5.4.1", still the problem persists.
I have ventured into my case and checked all of the connections inside the case as I am aware of this being a problem that could be causing the issue. However all connections seem to be secure.
I have been scouring the forums trying my best to find a solution and have so far been completely unsuccessful. If anyone could help me then please do! It would be amazing as this issue has only really been a recent thing with me as I have been playing with the setup for 7 months without an issue at all.
My setup is:
GeForce GTX 780 Zotac (Non-OC) ----> Display Driver 344.75
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50GHz
16.00GB RAM (Corsair Vengeance)
Asus Maximus IV Motherboard
Corsair CX 750M PSU
