mouse and keyboard vs controller?

Hey guys, I've always used a controller for fps's and games like assassin's creed just because it felt more fluid and natural (triggers, buttons etc.) But I chose to give mouse and keyboard a shot and it was accurate but it just didn't feel as natural using wasd or mouse clcks. Any tips to get used to this combination or any recommend mice or keyboards that feel comfortable and well spaced out to make it any easier?

Get a good gaming mouse with higher resolution. You don't need to drop tons of money, even a 20-30 dollar logitech will do nicely. Other than that, it's mostly preference. I play both console and PC gaming. I prefer mouse/keyboard for first person games and a controller for the 3rd person and fighting games. A little time playing with the mouse keyboard and you will get comfortable.

in time i think you'll get used to it. just to remember mouse is not the same as analog stick despite both try to mimic the function of each other. just my opinion and how do i feel about it in general but to me mouse give more freedom especially in first person shooter. some of the console ports just right awkward weird when you try to play them with mouse and keyboard. that's why in most gameplay trailers i know if the person were using mouse/keyboard or controller to control the game.

I know this is kind of oldish , but i actually prefer mouse and keyboard for everything except platformers. Someone said that they didnt like playing third person games. I think that the experience of GTA and saints row are far superior using mouse and keyboard.


Btw im 13 so yes i have smaller hands.
