yeah im building my gaming rig and i don;t know if cpu cooler is nessecary

I would always reccomend a cooler but the type of cooler depends on what youre going to use it for. If youre not going to overclock nothing special is needed abd a cooler master evo would be a great choice. If overclocking is something youre looking to do i would go for a nore exspensive noctua air cooling or if wsrercooling is your preference the corsair ones are really good. Personally i have a h100i that is running my i7 4930k.

if you can reconsider the A8 then I would, especially for a 'gaming' rig. And yes a cooler would be handy.
