What improvements can I make to my ~£600 build?

Hi I'm thinking of building this build for Christmas:

i7 4770k
Asus Z87 K
8gb Corsair ram (2x4gb)
Gigabyte or MSI GTX 970
128gb SSD
2X500gb HDD (Used)
600w PSU

Note: a friend is giving me the i7, mobo and ram (and a cooler for ~£230).

By my calculations this comes to around £600.

Any improvements will be greatly appreciated - I need to get this build finalised before Christmas.

What model is the PSU and SSD?

Change the PSU to an Evga, XFX, Seasonic, or Antec. SSD is a good choice, but you can generally save some money going with a Crucial MX100 256gb, if needing to free up some budget for the better PSU.

The rest looks good. This would be a good PSU for you. More than your really need, but with its price, it is too good of a deal to pass up. I would go MSI on that 970.
