I accidentally ordered the wrong ram for my computer and wanted to return it back to amazon (directions on how to send it back were too confusing since i am not familiar with packaging and online business)

Amazon returns confusing? Amazon has one of the easiest return procedures I've ever seen.

How long have you had the item?

Click on the "Return or replace items"
Give it a reason
They will give you two labels. Print these. One goes inside the box, one goes on the box.
Package the item up in a plain cardboard box (the one it came in?), put the inside one on the inside of the box
Put the outside one on the outside of the box.
Take it to your local UPS store.

So does amazon accept cardboard boxes that came with the product correct?

Next question so do i just tape the outside label over the barcode or something?

Also will amazon accept any product that comes in a cardboard box besides the one with my product?

Also should i use clear tape to tape my labels? Or any tape will do

1. As long as it is packed correctly. How did they send it to you? Do that.
2. Remove whatever labels are on the box. Place your labels on the box.
3. Not sure what you mean here. Are you planning on returning more than one item?
4. Well...you don't want to use duct tape. Clear tape, so the UPS people can actually ready where it is going.
