Ok so i recently bought a pc and just now recieved all the parts. However, before i could build it my mom said not to, hinting that i might receive something that would affect the build. I talked to my brother about it and he said it might have something to do with a ssd. So i'm pretty sure it will.

So it brings me to the quest above: how hard is it to transfer a os from a hdd to a ssd. If it is a bit of a process i can wait. If not then i going to go ahead and build it. If someone could also explain the process that would be nice. Thank you for considering my question.

...and for those that are wondering here is the link for my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ransacker/saved/6Q9RsY

Reinstalling on the same hardware (with a new SSD) is no problem.
And good practice!

So it would not be that hard. Because i am dying to build it. Also would installing, windows 8.1 mind you, again be legal? and would i have to purchase another copy. Because it will be about a week until christmas so installing things over agian is not a big issue for me.
