GPU upgrade for a Dell Optiplex 745 Desktop version?

That will fit fine as will most gpus. The only real limitation is the 300w psu in it and the lack of connectors. Granted all of that can be swapped out.

Edit -

Just realized you said desktop not mini tower. Get a Low Profile card. The rest still applies. Also I might suggest a gt730 or gt740 instead for the low profile.

Edit 2 -

Some of the desktop ones do have riser cards that allow you to use full height cards in them so pop it open and check. Otherwise just get a low profile card.

Actually the larger 750 models require a 6 pin connector so be careful
