"The Crew has stopped working"

Recently bought The Crew on PC and it keeps crashing and saying "The Crew has stopped working". Anybody else have the same problem or come about to fixing it? I tried verifying game files on Uplay, but that didn't work.

Have you installed the game and applied updates? Was it purchased on uPlay or Steam? If possible, try reinstalling the game without updating it. (Force Steam and uPlay in offline mode or disable automatic updates). Just about all recently released games are getting bad patches. I installed Dragon Age Inquisition from retail discs and cancelled the Origin update process and that game runs fine so far on version 1.0.0.0.

Checked out that link already and I already have updated drivers. Definitely not a hardware issue. I have a 4790k OC @ 4.7 Ghz but the temps are fine.

Also, I can't reinstall the game without the patches being applied, because when it installs, it installs the latest version.
