Ok to use old RAM in new PC

Hi I'm gona be building a new pc for myself soon, and was just wondering if it would be ok to use a 16GB corsair Vengeance LP kit that is being used In a old overclocked Pentium D computer right now?

I know it might sound dumb, but I want to make sure none of my new components will be compromised by some older ram. ( I think the corsair vengeance LP is around 3 years old.)

Solution
It should work according to ASUS's website. Sometimes overclocking can reduce the life of a component - but if it works now - it should work in the new mobo also....

well the motherboard i have is the GA-X38T-DQ6. One of the only lga 775 mobos that had DDR3 support.

i'm mainly asking the question because i overclocked the Pentium D with 1.5Vcore at 3.9Ghz. And was wondering if CPU overclocking would do any harm to memory.
