I have a pavalon p6000 motherboard and I decided to get a new case which has a power switch reset switch and led switch.

I can't find a Pavalon but HP made a Pavilion P6000 range - is that yours? There will be a block of pins including the power switch connector and alongside that connector will be the others. Use a small screwdriver very gently to short pairs of pins at random until you find the one that resets the system then do the same for the LED wiring.

I actually did find out where i needed to put the cables by random but thanks for the response though.
