Hello, thanks for taking time to help me or attempt to :)

This is my case.

That big thing at the top left is the optical drive and I can't seem to remove it, any ideas?

It is removable but I don't see any clips or screws when I remove it. There are two screws, one at the top and bottom and you can see them vaguely in the picture on the left side of the case but I can't reach them unless I take the top and bottom parts off which I don't know how.

Giving the make and model number of the computer would be helpful. It would provide a means of looking up that particular model and in finding instructions on how to remove the drive.

That looks very similar to a avp gladius case.
That whole silver portion of the case that holds the optical & hard drive should pull backwards & up.
There may be a retaining screw each side.
You should then be able to remove the drive once that section is out of the case

These red circles you see are screws

but how to get to them? It's the only thing I can think of that could be what's holding the silver plate down.

cant see any detail on the photo mate, are you sure those screws are actually screwed to the side of the case - they are sometimes just used as a hook & slot retainer rather than being screwed anywhere
is there any movement on the silver drive holder section at all??
on these type of cases there is only normally one screwed in retainer screw somewhere on top & the side ones just pull back & then up releasing the section
can you take a picture from the from with the faceplate removed - there may be 1 screw that hold that section under the faceplate - I would imagine it would be at the top somewhere the middle if so

OK, so I found out how to do this, you just pull up as you pull right as well and the whole silver plate will come out. Now, in order to do this I must remove the power and sata cable from my hard drive and optical drive, is it safe to do this? Disconnecting my hard drive for a brief moment??
