Hi all,

I recently built a new computer and am now trying all my games on it. I am being blown away by the performance of this card! It grabs 100+ frames in all my games. But, I loaded up Tomb Raider and I am getting a solid 12 FPS on Ultimate, and barely 60 FPS on the lowest settings possible. I am at a loss for what could be causing this. Please help me determine the root of my problem, as this framerate is unacceptable for a pc of this caliber.

Specs:
CPU: i5 4690k (Non Overclocked, Stock Cooler)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1
RAM: 8 GB of Kingston RAM

Thanks in advance,
Colin

Well that might be optimization. Tomb Raider is a poorly optimized PC port and that may be why your frames are so low. Or, you need a program to speed up your PC. A program I use frequently is CCleaner. It deletes Internet Cache, Browsing History and all sorts of stuff that makes me run an extra 10 frames on BF4 or 20 frames on Sims 4. But if you don't want to delete some certain thing, you can uncheck it, say if it was browsing history and it will not be deleted. If that does not work just call it a day, and say the game is optimized very poorly, because it actually is.

i dont know about the Tomb raider but i think it has supersampling , tru=y disabling it. if i remember correctly COD AWs supersampling was not maxed out by a 970

Plus as my horse said there is optimization , but i dont think it will be this bad (honestly even AV unity is not thins bad)
hope it helps!
