Primary: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD
Secondary: Western Digital WDC WD5000AACS 500 GB

I noticed over the past few weeks that my computer would randomly wake up from sleep to a BSOD. And my computer also takes alot longer to boot into windows (about 1 minute). It used to be nearly instantaneous with the SSD to boot into windows. In addition to that, if I turn off the computer or restart it, the first time it tries to boot into windows it launches the windows recovery - attempts to make a repair - but cannot find anything to fix, and it usually takes multiple restarts to get it to boot into windows with no errors.

I thought perhaps the hdd's were failing, but according to Hard Disk Sentinel, they are both healthy. They are not configured in a RAID setup. I have scanned the computer for potential malware or virus's with no results.

This is a work computer, so I am trying to fix this issue without having to reformat, that would be a last resort.

Do you have any large external USB drives connected? If the external drive takes long to powerup than the windows recovery from sleep, it results in a BSOD. Not sure why Microsoft doesn't fix this known problem.
