See I have a FX-8350 black edition and a Gigabyte R9 280x with 8gb of corsair dominator platinum RAM at 1866 speeds. I'm getting constant framedrops. It'll be running the game at like 45 or 50 fps, but then just jump down as low as 10fps. I don't understand why and far cry 4 does the same thing. I downloaded the new omega AMD drivers, but still nothing. Even The Witcher 2 gives my computer a lot of issues. I play Shadows of Mordor on max setting with everything put on max including the hd textures update. I play far cry 4 with fxaa antialiasing with everything else on max. If i lower the graphics i get the same studder. HELP!

If you are still getting drops to 10 FPS at low settings, not just a few lowered settings, but a default low setting, then you might have a system problem. Since these are brand new games, you might want to check their forums to see if it is a game problem, but you shouldn't have that drastic of a drop on "low settings".

If it is just a problem with the top 2 tiers of textures, tessellation and extreme levels of AA, that could be a VRAM limiting issue.

Performs good in some games like Shadow of Mordor, but not others? I say it's game settings. Witcher 2 and FC3 can be very demanding if certain settings are on. Make sure Vysnc is off and turn down some settings like Anti-aliasing, Ambient occlusion, etc.

I'm having issues with all of the mentioned games. I've done that. I get the same frame droppage with low settings. I understand these games aren't optimized very well, but sometimes they aren't even playable. I thought it was my processor back when i had an fx-6100, but even after upgrading it still runs it like crap. I have a ASUS sabertooth motherboard.
