which is the best liquid cleaner/polish for motherboards and other components

hello all can anyone tell me which is the best Liquid Cleaner/Polish for cleaning motherboards and other components ...like firms have because i have noticed then i was having problem in my motherboard i went to service center they have just cleaned & serviced my board and board was shining like as a brand new so please tell me from where i can buy that and which to buy....coz i dont want get my board damaged or etc...i m in india so if any online retail store is providing then please provide me links to buy that...thanks in advance...

Isopropyl Alcohol, 99%, is what i use. if you use a clean lint free rag this will clean all your components and does not leave any residue and also evaporates within seconds so there is no potential harm when you plug your computer back in and turn it on.

remember no cleaning while plugged into power supply.

I have helped others in india find this product before. they used your ve3rsion of ebay to find it, anything over 95% pure will work fine. other than that you could use something like these products

the alcohol is the universally recommended product to clean a CPU before installing and as any residue will decrease thermal performance it is known to be residue free.

he told me its pure and LR GRADE i dont know what is LR GRADE he said he dont know about what % it is so what u suggest bro..?

you may want to do a few more searches in the markets that you have available to see if you can find a better labeled product.

if you really cannot find anything better then that alcohol will do it would use potentially leave a little more residue but not much really.

i would try the alcohol with a small soft bristled brush some cotton swabs and a lint free cloth and see if that is shiny enough. mine looks pretty shiny and that is what I use.

i do not think there is any polish and if there is it would have to be non conductive otherwise it would ruin the board.
