Need help upgrading my motherboard

yes, but why do you need a new motherboard? thats a solid motherboard for non overclocking, do you intend to OC?
Either way AM3+ motherboards can be pricey, if youre going to upgrade you may as well go to the 990fx chipset, and get something like a M5A99FX PRO 2.0, or a GIGABYTE UDP3 model (has way more power phases, if you ever want to upgrade to an 8 core FX)
Overall if youre going to pour more money into the rig i would suggest a new graphics card instead, or also consider getting a cooler and overclocking, the FX 6300 sees great results OC'd to even just 4.2 Ghz
