Ok, so a few weeks back I was happily playing a game of Dota 2 when my computer randomly freezes up and makes a monotonous "bzz" until I reset it. I've taken my computer in to a shop to get it cleaned up and looked at because at first I thought it was overheating. He cleaned it, added new thermal paste and checked the temperature of the entire computer, he left it running for 30 hours and the highest temperature it got to was 47 degrees celcius. He also did a test on the memory and told me it passed easily.

I noticed that the freezing only happened when using my gaming application steam and more specifically Dota 2. So I tried, first verifying the integrity of the game cache, uninstalling Dota 2, uninstalling steam and re installing them both, to no avail. I also did the same for other games such as the binding of Isaac and The elder scrolls V: skyrim and they both work perfectly. I came to the conclusion that it was definitely a problem with Dota 2 and did all of my Windows updates, all of my Nvidia updates and looked into the reliability history after it crashed once again. This was the report:

Description

(part 1)

Solution
Try this, it might work.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI or Intel) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

It's been like this for a week and I've tried everything I can think of, I've looked at countless forum posts like this but most recommend a PSU or Ram change, I don't think it's my RAM because it can run things like Skyrim and BF4 on high/maximum setting with no problem.

I have an intel I5 2.9Ghz quad core processor
an Nvidia GTX 660

This is my display system information:

Sorry for the long thread i'm just now sure what to do now.
Thanks in advance

Part 2
For some reason I couldn't upload both parts in the same thread
