This is my first post on Tom's hardware and because english isn't my first language bare with me if it's grammar faults. Also if you've got a soulution please try to be as detalied as possible, not the best at computer stuff.
I just bought myself an Asus radeon r9 290x Direct cu II and i've connected it to my pc. I installed the latest amd drivers through the cd that came with it. But everytime i start using my computer my screen flickers, like it comes out lines and all really fast making it unable to see the screen. And after a while it just disconnects completely. Im connecting my monitor through an HDMI cable directly to my graphics card.
I was not sure if it was the monitor or card at first so i tried using my old graphics card GTX 660 and it worked perfectly. The monitor i use is a LG IPS277L.
