Hello, im looking at purchasing a amd fx-6300 w/ a radeon r9-270 graphics card or an amd fx-8320 w/ a lesser graphics card in

Best for gaming? the better the video card the better performance in games, you should consider an Intel build if it's for gaming with an i5-4670 or even an i3-4130 will give you similar performance the FX-6300 would give you, with the difference that with Intel you'll have a nice upgrade path up to an i7-4790k whereas with AMD you'd be pretty much on the top already.

Rendering, virtualization and such however would benefit more from the 8 cores the FX-8320 offers.

For gaming, the more powerful graphics card is much more useful. No point in spending more money on a CPU. Although, may I ask how much you are paying for this system, as I would imagine that it would make much more sense to build one yourself.
TL; DR
You want the one with the R9 270 and FX 6300

Thats an awesome site thanks for sharing. The thing is im in nursing school so crazy busy.. im sure i could learn how to put together a pc but currently do not have the time to do so. Im getting the price split as a christmas gift... you think it will hold up with (just throwing random games out there) skyrim medium settings, battlefield 4?? I know those games are demanding but id like to see if it'll hold up atleast on moderate settings?

Yup, it should run games at 1080P medium/high.
