Well, just go with what you have if you've got everything! The more powerful CPU will...

Well, the GPU will bottleneck the power of the CPU quite some amount. Additionally, if you were to upgrade the GPU, you'd need a better PSU. That said, even if you don't upgrade the GPU, I'd recommend a higher tier PSU, as the CX editions are quite cheap.

Putting that aside and actually answering your question, I'd say you'll see an FPS range of 45-70 on FarCry 4 and BF4, depending on graphics settings. That CPU can handle whatever you throw at it, but the GPU will limit you. You're definitely going to dip into the 30s and 40s on newer games with the 270x.

So would i be better off getting a cheaper cpu? As not to be wasting money if its going to be bottle necked? And what gpu would you recomend? Thanks again

Yeah, you could probably get away with using a cheaper CPU. Especially since the one you're buying as of now is "unlocked", meant to be overclocked. If you don't plan on OCing the cpu, then that's not much of a benefit to you. The 3570k was a great pair with the r9-280x, so the 4670 (newer version of 3570) would be a good choice. Go for your 4770k if you plan on getting a r9 290x, or GTX 970/980.

Optimal choice would be to up the GPU up to a r9 280x/r9 290/r9 290x/GTX 970, and if you go with a r9 series, up the power supply to a 700/750watt.

The thing is that im on a pretty tight budget, and cant afford to go too far over for my gpu and cpu, what if i went with an i5 4690k and a asus gtx 760? Or would that be the same story

i5-4670(k or not) and r9 280x would be a great pair. The 280x beats the 760 in performance, but it's more power hungry. Think the 280x is cheaper, too. Though, the excess funding should go towards a higher wattage power supply.

Thanks for the replys, ive been thinking about this for a while now (btw 280x is considerably more expensive than 760, outside my budget unfortunatly) weather to go for the 760 or not , but the only problem is that i already have the 270x sitting infront of me and im trying to decide if it will be worth the extra couple kf fps to return it and get a better one, ive looked at many benchmark tests and the 270x is only behind by a 2-8 fps frame, and the games id be playing most which is, league of legends, counter strike, and dragon age inquisition and possibly some bf4 (not nessecarily ultra) so im not sure if it will be worth the extra effort.

Well, just go with what you have if you've got everything! The more powerful CPU will help down the road when you upgrade the GPU or do crossfire. For now, expect good frame rates on Very-High settings, not necessarily ultra.
