Hey guys, I'm using Windows 8.1 on my desktop and when I'm playing games in full screen (meaning no taskbar, application bar, etc), every 30 minutes or so my game will kick itself out of fullscreen and become windowed. The game doesn't crash or anything it's just very annoying and constantly interrupts my gameplay. Anybody got any fixes?

It's probably some background program. Try to game at windowed mode and see if some program launches or if you get some notification (Nvidia driver has reset, for instance).
Check for malware and viruses while you are at it. Malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/
Start task manager (ctrl+shift+esc), go over to processes. Note the names. See if theres a new name on that list after 30 minutes. Could do a print screen or something.
