I have had this computer for 3 going on 4 years. I am buying a 24" monitor and a led keyboard/mouse. I think my PSU might need to be upgraded, but it has worked well for this long. But I dont want to hook up my new monitor when it gets here and everything go "boom".

My computer information is
PSU: Corsair CX-430
CPU: AMD A8-3870 APU 3.00 GHz
Graphics: Sapphire HD 7750 1G DDR5
MB: AsRock A75m - HVS
Ram: 8 gb/2x4 GB corsair
HD:250gb

The CX is prolly the best PSU that Corsair has with a "C" in the model name but that's not saying a lot. I wouldn't select it if building new, but that's not reason to change it. You overclocking ?

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

Radeon HD 7770 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.
Radeon HD 7770 Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock the GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

I do not think it is in overclock. I will check and make sure, If it is I will turn it off. It is set to Auto, there is also a Manual setting. Is there specific PSU I should get or can I get any PSU and it will work?
