Hi, I'm planning my first build and have come up with something. I'm just not sure if it's too powerful for what I want to use it for. I'll be using this computer for gaming and would like to be able to play games like Bioshock Infinite, Dragon age inquisition, Civilization V, Farcry 4, world of warcraft etc on high settings on a single 1080p monitor.

Ideally I'd like to keep the budget within the $800-$900 range but, right now its coming in at just under $1000. My build is as follows (prices are Canadian):

CPU Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
Mobo ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
RAM G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card
Case NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
OS Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit)

Are there any parts I could scale back on? And are all the parts compatible and ensure no bottlenecking?

Solution
For the games you want to play, for example far cry 4, I don't think you'll want to go any lower on the GPU than that. The only place I could see cutting corners on the build you have set up there would be to drop the SSD. They don't help with gaming much at all, other than load times. Frames per second don't see much improvement, unless you are using an older or slower HDD (which can cause some stutter), which you aren't.

Very nice looking system though, great choices.
