will having more hard drives slow down a computer??

hello all
I am currently building a pc and I am wondering some hard drives from different computers will slow down my computer for general use and gaming
I will be using a ssd and 5 hdd's and they will be different speeds

No, the number of hard drives in a computer has no bearing on the speed of the rest of the machine, but of course, access times to the data on each hard drive is dependent on the drive and it's connection type.
